In March 2020, Eashaan Dassanayaka landed back in Sri Lanka. Weeks later, he walked up to the front door of a bar in Colombo 7 and found Vimuth Joseph standing there. The two had been at school together. The last time they’d seen each other was almost six years earlier.
The reunion
What started as a hello at the door turned into an evening of catching up, with a camera rolling.

Behind the camera
Unlike his other vlogs, Eashaan invested real time in this one. He brought in a small crew so viewers could see the place and the people the way they deserved. A one-minute teaser went out on 4 June 2020, and the full 13-minute episode followed on 9 June.
It was a non-profit video, made for the love of the story.
