Megan Schutt suspended for two matches
Cricket Australia says a single, out-of-competition breach of its prescription-medication rules was not performance-enhancing.
Australian cricketer Megan Schutt has been suspended for two matches, Cricket Australia announced on 22 October.
According to Cricket Australia, Schutt failed to follow its Sports Science and Sports Medicine guidelines on prescription medication.
The governing body said the breach was a single incident that happened out of competition, and was “not for performance enhancing purposes”.
The two-match ban covers all international and domestic cricket.
In its statement, Cricket Australia said it would keep supporting Schutt and reinforce “the standards and responsibilities expected of everyone representing our game”.
